2004   10-11 years old	Ross raced a cage kart in the JR 3 Class in the Burris Circle Tour. Ross did not race for points, he did take 5th in points. After winning six, placing second twice and third & fourth once with three no shows and two DNFs of a 15 race season.
2005   11-12 years old	Ross moved up to the  INEX Legend Car Division. He  raced as an Outlaw at Lake Geneva, WI,  Rockford , IL, and Morris, IL.  Ross did well his first season, he had one win, two seconds, and seven top fives, out of a seventeen race season.
2006   12-13 years old	Ross continued in INEX Legend Car Division legally, after obtaining his license with the help from Nelson and Tony Stewart. Traveling to Charlotte, Atlanta and other tracks to gain experience and prepare for the Late Model Division.
2007   13-14 years old	Ross moved up to the Limited Late Model Division,  with help from his father.
